How to fix Word 2007 cursor at the very top of page

Word options showing display options

You open up a new document in Microsoft Word 2007 and find the cursor defaults to the very top of the page (see image, above). This is because white space is currently set to hidden.

To change it back to default, head over to Word options under "Display" category and ensure "Show white space between pages in Print Layout view" is checked. That should fix it.

A shortcut is to simply move the mouse pointer to the top of the document until the mouse changes into a page icon with two arrows then double click. This was probably how you got the problem in the first place.

Good luck.
