Deus Ex on Ubuntu 12.04

Now this one's super old. But it was pretty awesome during it's time. Too bad I never finished it.

System specification

Here's my system's specs, again:

Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz
Memory: 2.5GB DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 1GB with Catalyst 12.4
Operating system: Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit
Wine version: 1.4

The game installs with no problems at all. It's like installing on Windows. No tweaks required.

No crack was required to bypass the copyright protection to get the game running.  The DRM is just a simple CD check when the game starts. Once the game has started, you can remove the CD and the game runs just fine. Unlike the DRM employed nowadays, copy protection from those days are just a minor inconvenience.

Playing the game for about an hour didn't turn up any obvious troubles. This game should run just fine on the current Wine stable release.

I must be developing... something against FPS games. A half hour of gaming and I start getting bad vibes. An hour into this and I'm just about ready to throw up. Your mileage may vary.
