Galleria - a simple wallpaper utility for Ubuntu

Galleria is a simple tool for setting your desktop wallpaper on the Ubuntu GNOME desktop. It's made with help from Ubuntu Quickly and should be available now on PPA.

Using it is simple. Just browse to the folder containing your wallpapers and it displays thumbnails of each wallpaper in the iconview. Select the wallpaper you want and set your wallpaper with the "Set As Wallpaper" button. Can't get much easier than that.

If you select multiple wallpapers, then a wallpaper slideshow is created. It defaults to a one hour wallpaper change interval.

This is still very much a work in progress (I haven't even made an icon for this!). If you have a fairly large collection in the folder, it'll take some time to generate the thumbnails so the app may appear to not respond while it's doing that. Rest assured it's running fine.

There're alternatives available as posted in comments to previous posts on this topic, of course. This is just something a hobby project of mine, if you will.
